Kōloa Rum Company

Located at Kilohana Plantation in Lihue, Kauaʻi, the Kōloa Rum Company Store creates the ambiance of the bygone era of old plantation days. It offers our full range of our single-batch, premium Hawaiian rums, ready-to-drink cocktails, as well as tempting rum cakes, rum fudge sauce, Hawaiian Kukui Mai Tai Mix, tropical fruit jellies/jams, logo wear, and a unique array of specialty gifts.

Adjacent to the Company Store, the Tasting Room offers daily scheduled tastings of our award-winning premium rums every hour and has welcomed nearly 1 million people since it opened its doors in 2009. The Tasting Room accommodates up to 10 people per tasting.

The Kōloa Rum Company Store & Tasting Room celebrates our deep commitment to bringing people together and expanding our Kōloa Rum ohana, creating great memories, and sharing the Hawaiian way of life.

We carefully and skillfully handcraft our premium Hawaiian rums from the finest sugarcane and the pure, abundant water sources of Kauaʻi, Hawaiʻi. Pristine rainwater from Mount Waiʻaleʻale and nearby mountain peaks and rainforests is captured after filtering through volcanic strata and reaching vast underground aquifers. When combined with “tall cane” sugarcane, Kauaʻi water imparts its own unique taste that perfectly complements Kōloa Rum.
