Sonoma Coast Spirits is a woman-owned craft distillery located in Sonoma County. All the vodkas and cocktails are distilled from corn six times, resulting in an incredibly smooth mouthfeel! In addition, all of our Sonoma County products, including vodkas, pre-mixed cocktails, and peanut butter whiskey, are vegan and gluten-free!

You may recognize Petaluma as home to Lagunitas Brewing. Sonoma Coast Spirits distillery produces award-winning hand-crafted spirits and infuses them with fresh herbs and fruit from their own Sonoma County garden. Infusing local ingredients into distilled spirits is not a new concept. Still, they take it one step further by personally growing many fruits, including Sonoma Coast lemon, herbs, and vegetables that go into both cocktails and then the spirit itself.

At Sonoma Coast Distilling, they take transparency seriously. They want you to know precisely where your spirits come from and how they’re made. The Meyer lemons, Eureka lemons, limes, grapefruit, oranges, pears, apples, cherries, and plums come from their gardens in Petaluma, California. Their Vodka is distilled in small batches using only the finest ingredients. We bottle and age right here in California in that you get the highest quality possible.

Craft Spirits

Sonoma Coast Spirits’ cocktails are 32-proof and all-natural, using only the finest California ingredients. The Grappa line was launched in 2016 and offered Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, and Wood-Aged Grappa. Making Grappa is a tribute to Jill’s Great-Grandfather, Lionardo Dioguardi, who owned and operated a Distillery/Winery in Santa Rosa, and made Grappa before Prohibition. The Vodka line was launchedand016 which offers Original Vodka; Citrus Basil Vodka (Oprah’s Favorite!); Jalapeño Lime Vodka (Oprah’s Favorite); Sweet Ginger; Espresso; and Rose. Jill’s mother taught her to can during high school, and she has been canning ever since. She cans and uses many ingredients from her garden in her bottled Vodka. She has Meyer lemons; Eureka lemons, limes; grapefruit; oranges; pears; apples, cherries, peaches, plums, apricots, grapes, and an herb garden!

Lemon Drop Martini

A lemon drop martini is a cocktail made from Vodka, lemon juice, and sugar. It is usually served cold. The drink is named after the lemon drop candy, which it resembles. Sonoma Coast Spirits’ Lemon Drop Martini is made with original Vodka, Meyer lemons, Eureka lemons, and limes. It is a super-smooth vodka that’s perfect for mixing into cocktails! Jalapeno Lime Vodka

Jalapeno Lime Vodka is made with local jalapenos and limes. The Vodka is distilled with jalapeno and lime peels, which gives it its unique flavor profile. The Vodka is then filtered to provide a clean, crisp taste.

The Sonoma Coast Spirits owners were featured on CNBC’s The Profit this past season! The California-based distillery said it was a great experience working with Marcus Lemonis and his team. They learned a lot and continue to benefit from the experience.

The Sonoma Coast Story

Sonoma Coast Spirits is a Craft Distillery founded in 2011 by Doug and Jill Olson. Upon Doug’s untimely passing in November 2018, Jill is running the business with the help of her grown children. They bring Jill’s traditional family recipes to the discriminating consumer in ready-to-drink cocktails (Lemon Drop, Raspberry Lemonade, Pomegranate Cosmo, and Mango Tango) to be enjoyed conveniently in your home with family and friends. Her award-winning products are hand-crafted, an artisan in nature, and include many ingredients from her herb garden and citrus trees in her yard. Jill began learning to can and preserve when she was very young, continuing today’s tradition in the distillery. It’s a farm-to-glass operation.
