G&C Lurton Vineyards & Winery
Gonzague & Claire Lurton, 4th generation winemakers from Bordeaux, have planted roots in Sonoma County.
The naming of their wine, Acaibo, was a special process for Gonzague and Claire Lurton. Having already acquired properties with long histories and well-known names in Bordeaux. However, this was the first time they would choose the name G&C Vineyards would be known for their vinous creation in their winemaking careers.
Share a tasting experience where you will discover the history of Acaibo, and the terroir. Learn about the vineyard, the family who has been in wine for over three generations in Bordeaux and started a new adventure in Sonoma.
Enjoy a careful selection of wines showcasing the unique style of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot, and note how each wine reflects the terroir from 6000 miles apart from another. Unfortunately, few winemakers have the ability to offer you this privilege.
G&C Lurton Vineyards is delighted to offer various tastings to explore wines from Sonoma and Bordeaux. We also offer wines by the glass.

What’s not to love about this tiny tasting room in the heart of Healdsburg? They have a Sonoma Flight and Bordeaux flight, pouring French wines from their three famous vineyards and blends grown in two properties locally. The tasting room hosts are passionate and knowledgeable, which gave us insight into how these grapes traveled from France to California – it makes sense now why there is so much history behind every sip! Between the two French-speaking hosts, we felt like international guests browsing one French vineyard after another when they have been bottled right here locally too—Between them, you can feel like an honored guest visiting someone’s home rather than just another tourist taking pictures all day long – this speaks volumes about what kind people they are inside and out.
